A survivor in an orange hat leans around the corner of a green container at sunset and aims along it

Features

Everything the server does differently

Eight systems built for SparkZ. The 3D models on this page are the real ones from the game: drag to turn them.

SparkZBaseBuilding, SparkZCodeLock

Claim a plot. Build behind a lock.

The squad that owns a plot decides who gets in.

  • A plot pole claims the ground. Only squad members with base access can build or open locked doors.
  • Wood and cinder block: walls, doors, metal doors, garage doors, hatches, windows, floors and a hangar door, all crafted at a workbench.
  • Code locks have no PIN: they open for the squad that owns the plot.
Who can open a locked door?
Members of the owning squad who have base access. If a plot has no claim, nobody can open a locked door.
What does a plot cost?
Plots have a daily upkeep that is paid at the pole (press J). Admins can inspect every plot.
How many workbenches?
One per plot pole.

The 3D models need JavaScript and WebGL.

Base pieces

Drag to turn them.

It claims the ground. Only squad members with base access can build, open locked doors or manage the plot.

SparkZBreaching, SparkZBaseBuilding

Raiding takes preparation.

And it leaves the defenders a chance to react.

  • Charges are crafted by hand from five ingredients. Wood needs one charge, metal two, a hangar door three.
  • A planted charge cannot be shot or picked up. Pliers disarm it in five seconds, with a risk.
  • You can walk through a planted charge, so it never traps anyone.
Where can I plant one?
On a closed door, garage door or hatch of a base piece. The game refuses if there is nothing to breach.
What if the disarm fails?
Every try has a random chance of setting the charge off. If it works, the charge drops at your feet.

The 3D models need JavaScript and WebGL. The list on the right still tells you what each part does.

Raiders plant it on a closed door or hatch. Build it up part by part.

SparkZAirdrop, SparkZKOTH

Reasons to leave your base.

Supply crates fall from the sky. Hills are held, not just visited.

  • Supply crates come down on a parachute and land with real weight. Smoke marks the spot.
  • King of the hill events lock a gear stash. Hold the centre to unlock it.
  • Both are announced in game, and admins edit the loot in game.

SparkZGroup

One map, one squad list.

Built for the server, not borrowed from a menu.

  • Create a squad with a name and a tag, invite players by name, and give them base access or manager rights.
  • The map (M) shows your squad, your markers and the server markers. T drops a quick ping.
  • The squad HUD lists members with a health line.

SparkZRespawn

You choose where you wake up.

Eight coastal cities, several spots each.

  • After a death a full-screen map lists Kamenka, Komarovo, Chernogorsk, Elektrozavodsk, Kamyshovo, Solnechny, Berezino and Svetloyarsk.
  • Players who spawn at the same time are spread out and never land on each other.
  • The city you spawned in stays locked for five minutes.

SparkZChat

A chat that shows who is talking.

Squad tags in squad colours, some of them animated.

  • Tab switches the channel: ALL, NEARBY (50 metres), SQUAD and PM.
  • Private messages: /w name message. /r answers the last one.
  • Admins pick each squad tag's colour and animation in the F10 hub.

Admins set each squad tag's colour and animation: rainbow, breathe, gleam, sparkle, fire, ocean or glitch.
